Dr. Christian Payne was born and raised in Plainfield, New Jersey. He had a passion for helping animals early on and has held almost every position available in the veterinary field! He’s been a kennel assistant, veterinary assistant, and eventually worked as a veterinary technician from high school through college.
Dr. Payne completed his undergraduate education at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey with a biology degree in 2012. Following graduation, he went to Western University of Health Sciences in California and earned his veterinary degree in 2016. He went on to complete a one-year small animal rotating internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey. In practice, he holds a special interest in emergency medicine, internal medicine, and cardiology.
During his spare time, Dr. Payne enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He absolutely loves being outdoors, hiking, playing volleyball, and going to the beach.
